Whether you are an avid trout angler or just want to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet, River Lodge is for you. The upstairs master has a queen and private bath and a futon located in the loft. Downstairs you will find another queen bedroom along with two twins in the third bedroom. A fully equipt kitchen and large living room and deck to relax.
This property is located directly on the Coosawattee River in the gated Coosawattee River Resort. The resort amenities include outdoor and indoor pools, a playground just down the street, stocked pond, tennis courts, miniature golf, basketball courts, arcade and fitness center. Easy paved access for motorcycles.
Catch trout and bass in abundance (the neighbor just caught a 3.5 lb trout!) directly off the bank of this riverfront property or wade in with your fly rod to gain access to this peaceful, private river. Let your kids try their luck catching minnows and crawfish in the creek that runs along the property. Drop your tubes in the park on old highway 5 and float home.
River Lodge is located on 1.5 wooded acres next to the resort gate closest to scenic downtown Ellijay. In the evening use the grill to cook your catch and enjoy it on the deck or at one of two picnic areas. Afterwards, toast marshmallows' with your family over the fire pit. Or better yet, make s'mores!
Still want the luxuries of home? No problem. Bring your tablet or laptop and enjoy access to the Wi-Fi network throughout the property. Don't miss your favorite show...River Lodge offers satellite TV and Nextflix. Or you can reach that new game level with the Xbox 360 console. There's even an iPod docking station stereo so that you can listen to your favorite music.
PLEASE READ ~ Security Deposit OR Damage Waiver REQUIRED:
Mountain Memories Cabins requires a $300 refundable security deposit with each reservation OR a $30 non-refundable damage waiver which will cover UP TO $200 in repair/replacement of damaged items at the rental unit. If guest elects to pay the damage waiver and damages exceed $200, renter is responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement of damaged property. If guest elects to pay the refundable security deposit, it will be refunded within 72 hours of departure cleaning if no damage occurred.
